 Do
you know that God has gifted you with special abilities,
and He expects you to use those abilities (gifts) for
Him?
Each of us is wonderfully different. Intentionally
unique. As we mature as fully devoted Christ followers,
we must use our shape to help people and to honor God.
The Bible says that we are, "God's workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God
prepared in advance for us to do." (Eph. 2:10)
Your spiritual
SHAPE was given to you by God, for God's great purpose.
Servant
Central is part of GCC’s desire to become an equipping
church. This means members are called to lead through
ministry; to take ownership of our growth and be accountable
for encouraging each other and reaching our community.
At GCC, we believe every member is a minister as Christ
called us to be in His Great Commission.
What does
SHAPE mean?
 God
has blessed each of us with special abilities, and He
expects us to use those gifts for the purpose of building
up the body of Christ (the church). Class 301
is about MINISTRY. It is “third base”
on the baseball diamond.
Just
as each of us has one body with many members, and these
members do not all have the same function, so in Christ
we who are many form one body, and each member
belongs to all the others.
We have different gifts, according to the grace given
us. -Romans 12:4-6
Like
any family, each person is wonderfully different.
It is our desire to help every member of God’s
church to discover their unique God-given S.H.A.P.E.
Each
Member in God’s family has a S.H.A.P.E.!
Third
Base/301 will encourage you to discover your SHAPE and
enable you to use your unique set of gifts through the
Holy Spirit for God's glory.
